building my social sphere from scratch with twitter

1

so after some thinking, i’ve come up with (what i think is) a pretty decent idea for this post.
i’ve been using twitter for the past 6 months or so, have 383 (and counting) followers, and follow 524 people.  i have updated 1,539 times.  i’m currently ranked 24,545 out of 1,095,823 people on twitter, and have a score of 97.2 out of 100.
i’m going to be honest, here, before twitter i had no idea who @chrisbrogan was, or@guykawasaki or @jowyang.  i didn’t find them in …

happy new year, pepsi’s rebrand

11

happy 2009, all (yes, i’m aware january is almost over).

i didn’t really know where to say this, so this is what i’ve chosen.
my grandfather is dying.  like, really… he probably won’t be around in a couple of weeks.  and honestly, i’m not quite sure what to think about that.
he is 93 years old and the most amazing man i have ever met.  ever.  ever in my whole life.
he spent his 93 years doing two things and two things only: working hard loving hardhe worked his entire life to provide for the …

generation y: not too “soft” to achieve entrepreneurial success

24

i was poking around on twitter this morning when i came across @FHinnovation, the twitter account of the director of innovation here at fleishman-hillard.  one of her tweets drove me to the FH innovation blog where i stumbled on a post about millennials (aka generation y, aka yours truly).  having spent a couple years of college researching and writing about generation y and their buying habits, etc i was intrigued, so i took a peek.
unfortunately, what i saw hurt my heart a little …
