I’ve realized that i’m a complicated individual: I’m a twenty-something who absolutely loves to cook, loves to eat even more, and loves marketing, branding and the internet. Initially, this site was all about marketing, branding and the like but lately, after becoming more and more active on Yelp, I’ve realized how much I like blogging about food.

Really, I’d absolutely love to be a food critic.  But, baby steps are the way to go, so I’m starting here— with a blog about what I eat, what I think, no holds barred.

You’ll find restaurant reviews, recipes and recipe reviews, banter about marketing and branding and the internet, and probably quite a few rants.

I love to love people, am one of the most loyal people you’ll come across.  I’m quirky, I’m loud, stubborn and “eccentric” (my high school driving instructor, Dave, said so). Like what I have to say? Subscribe, and please share me with your friends!

Here are a few quick things about me…

If we’re talking about sports: I like the Redskins, the Orioles, and the Capitals.  I also happen to think that Cheerleading is a sport, and I’m a proud coach to 22 loud, obnoxious, hormonal high school girls.

If we’re talking colors: Orange is my favorite. I also prefer orange Starbursts to the rest of the flavors.

If we’re talking food: I love sushi… almost as much as I love burritos.  I’m an avid Chipotle fan, and miss working in DC (only because I used to lunch at Well Dressed Burrito). I love going out to eat, and write a review about just about every restaurant I go to. You can find my reviews on Yelp (be my friend!).

If we’re talking restaurants: Yamazato in Alexandria for Sushi. El Paso in Springfield for Mexican. Sakul Thai in Alexandria for Thai. Gordon Biersch in Tysons for beer and foo foo bar food. Lebanese Taverna in Tysons/Arlington/DC for Lebanese food… love their kibbe. Hardtimes Cafe in Fairfax for killer chili.
